What’s the difference between a bookkeeper and an accountant?

While bookkeepers and accountants share common goals, they support your business in different stages of the financial cycle. Bookkeeping is more transactional and administrative, concerned with recording financial transactions. Accounting is more subjective, giving your business insights based on bookkeeping information (bench). Ultimately, bookkeepers and accountants work together and collaborate for your business.

What is a certified professional bookkeeper (CPB)?

Certified professional bookkeepers are highly trained and educated accounting professionals. We have to write an exam to become one, and let me tell you – that exam is no piece of cake. We need to have years of education and experience just to write it. Plus, in order to keep our title, we have complete 20 hours of continued education every year. Long story short – we really know our stuff.

How much do your services cost?

It all depends. We know – everyone says that. But after we meet together to talk about your needs, we’ll then come up with a proposed plan and rate to work together.
